Software PRESKAL
The new program has been designed to facilitate calibration and metrological confirmation of pressure gauges that measure both in positive and in vacuum in accordance with the international standard EN ISO 9001.
To carry out the calibration it is necessary to generate 5 increasing pressure measurements, 5 decreasing measurement points and another 2 points at 50% of the scale to check the repeatability of the pressure gauge being calibrated.
For each pressure point generated it is necessary to wait 30 seconds to stabilize the measurement.
At the end, the program calculates various types of errors and in particular:
a) Error reading in pressure units.
b) Error reading in percentage of the Scala Fund.
c) Extended Uncertainty U in pressure units.
d) Extended Uncertainty U ’without the addition of corrections associated with the pressure gauge being calibrated.
All certificates are subsequently printed and stored in a database that allows you to keep the history of calibrations performed.
The calibration procedure and the calculations are carried out in accordance with the requirements of the "Pressure Gauge Calibration Guide" EA-10/17.
